We Salute Green GoGirls!

Welcome to GoGirlsGoGreen Blogger. This is the place we will recognize the GoGirls Going Green! We salute these artists who apart from composing songs, have done their bit for the environment.

Going green has become a focus in recent years for many artists who are trying to help save the environment with everything from carbon offsets, to giving away autographed compost bins, to philanthropy.

With Earth Day celebrated on April 22 each year to mark the anniversary of the modern environmental movement, GoGirls wants to be a part of that movement by recognizing and accounting for all the members that do their part.

Share with us how you GoGreen Girls!
Cuz playing green rocks!

This is very exciting! I started my own Gaia Grove initiative last year (performing shows where proceeds go back to a difernt environmental charity, educating on blog) and am performing the first international benefit concert on Mother’s Day weekend in Mexico! I hosted the first benefit show of 2008 at The Bitter End at the end of March and raised funds for Conservation International. In Mexico, we are raising funds for Zonas Verdes de Punta Banda – a local eco zone near La Bufadora...

This blog is a great concept, Annette! We've been "green" for over 2 decades and would love to share any tips or thoughts to those who are interested.

For a chuckle, check out the music video for our climate change song "House of Trouble" --
